Meet our Senior Pastor

Terrance J. Gregory, M.Div., M.A.C.E
Biographical Sketch
Reverend Terrance Jameel Gregory has served as Senior
Pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Drewryville,
Virginia since March 2013. There, he faithfully leads the
DREW vision: a divinely inspired plan for individual and
collective growth rooted in discipleship, relationship,
evangelism, and worship.
Prior to joining Pleasant Grove, Reverend Gregory served
as Senior Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Macon, North
Carolina. During his tenure, God led him to initiate and allowed
him to complete multiple improvement projects, including fullpayment
and installation of stained glass windows, and the
restructuring of financial practices and processes. Reverend
Gregory also established a Helping Hands Ministry while
serving at Mount Zion.
Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from
the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia
Union University. He resides in Richmond, Virginia with his
wife, LaTonya Joyner-Gregory and his son Jayden Jameel
Lindsey.
Reverend Gregory is a man who desires to please God. His
favorite scripture reads, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of
Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth…” Romans 1:16.
